*You would be part of: *

• Leading scientists and analysts on the team and overseeing research and development projects at various stages ranging from initial exploration to deployment into production systems.
• Work closely with product teams to implement algorithms with Python and/or R
• Design and implement scalable predictive models, and classifiers leveraging machine learning, and data regression.
• Research business domain and develop use cases to support enterprise-wide AI solutions.
• Reporting results in a scientifically rigorous way.
• Interacting with other scientists, product managers and related domain experts to dive deep into the types of challenges that we need innovative solutions for our products.
• Maintain technical documents and communicate results to diverse audiences with effective writing, visualizations, and presentations.

We expect you to:

• Have 7+ years of experience building quantitative solutions as a scientist or science manager.
• Have 4+ years of experience managing scientists or machine learning engineers.
• Have a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative field (such as Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Engineering) or equivalent field experience
• Have extensive programming experience with Python
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have a very strong grasp of software engineering concepts with a strong algorithms/data structures background.
• Have a background in building systems with a major machine learning library such as Tensorflow or Pytorch.
• Have background in applying deep learning to real problems and knowledge of a major framework
• Have experience with common data science toolkits, such as Scikit, NumPy, and R libraries - Excellence in at least one of these is mandatory.
• Have experience analysing very large, complex, multi-dimensional data sets.
• Have experience with one or multiple of the following; Python, Tableau, Jupyter Notebooks, Teradata, Hadoop/Hive, SQL, Big Query
• Have an excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as SVM, Decision Forests, k-NN, Naive Bayes etc.
• Have experience in selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers using machine learning techniques.
• Have experience in working with Geospatial datasets.
  
• Have good knowledge of statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.
• Have demonstrated a history of building prototypes to win business confidence.

*You are awesome if you: *

• Have 10+ years of building quantitative solutions as a scientist or science manager experience
• Have 1+ years of experience with AWS SageMaker ML workflow for geospatial data.
• Experienced with Computer vision-related problems and approaches
• Have experience working with drone imagery and videos.
