About the Role
As Sr. Account Executive, you are a self-motivated, highly driven, strategic thinker with high technical expertise. In this role, you will focus on executing Volt’s sales strategy to drive revenue growth. You are adept at identifying new business opportunities and building and nurturing strong relationships with prospective customers to close high-value deals. You will generate new business, manage key customer relationships, and close deals to meet and exceed sales targets. You will focus on understanding customer needs, championing their goals, and ensuring maximum value is derived from our solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of technical proficiency, a strong understanding of SaaS platforms, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Requirements
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth by identifying, targeting, and closing new business opportunities.
- Manage the entire sales process, from generating and qualifying prospective leads through closing, and effectively develop and manage the sales pipeline to achieve sales targets.
- Establish solid business relationships with prospective customers/decision-makers and have a strong understanding of their solution needs.
- Generate and qualify leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Track, manage, and optimize the sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring a steady flow of prospects.
- Negotiate contract terms to close high-value deals to meet or exceed sales quotas consistently.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations tailored to prospective customer needs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams on deal leads to ensure smooth contract negotiations, implementation, and execution.
- Provide post-sale support to ensure successful product implementation.
- Provide regular reporting of forecasting, pipeline, and sales performance metrics/KPIs and analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and experience in a Sales, Business Development, or Account Management role.
- Demonstrated technical sales experience and successful track record generating new business and meeting/exceeding sales targets in the SaaS industry or related tech sector.
- Proven track record in targeted selling leveraging LinkedIn’s platform to drive prospect and customer engagement to generate revenue growth.
- Understanding of the SMS space (10DLC, TFN, Short Codes, Twilio, etc)
- Experience qualifying opportunities and ability to convert prospects and close deals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Highly organized, self-starter who can work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales management tools.

The compensation for this role is a base salary range of $75-90K + Commission. Volt provides health, dental, vision, and life insurance to employees at no extra cost. Equity is offered to all employees in the form of stock options.
