About the job

Job Details:
Full-time Monday-Friday, flexible hours
Hybrid working

Role Overview:
Temple Cycles assemble over 1500 bikes a year and are looking to double this number in the coming years. Each bike is made of 50 or more components which come from suppliers all over the world. These parts need to be purchased and delivered to the right places at the right time for production, taking into account long lead times and passing through customs etc. This role involves working closely with the Head of Product and Operations to source and purchase the necessary parts and get them shipped to the correct destinations so our production runs smoothly. This role also involves getting stuck into warehouse operations and planning production.

The Company:
As societies transition to green modes of transport, bikes will be a big part of the future. Temple is a UK-based designer and maker of high quality bikes and electric bikes. Founded in 2015, Temple has been growing year after year, with the mission to become an iconic and global bicycle brand with an emphasis on sustainability, timeless products, and encouraging more and more people to experience the joys of cycling.

At the time of this role starting, the company will employ the following 13 people:

We are currently a niche-sized bicycle producer, with 2022 and 2023 revenues being £2.2m and £2.0m respectively. Our ambitions are to grow and hit £3m in 2026. We will also be looking for a £1m-£2m investment around 2025/26 to allow us to grow further. We’d like to be reaching £5m+ revenue by 2027/2028. Therefore, if you were to join Temple at this time, you’d be joining for an important chapter in our story.
