About the Role

Chimoney is seeking a dynamic Head of Sales and Business Development to drive our sales strategy. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and leading the sales team to achieve revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Chimoney's sales team and rapidly grow Chimoney's revenue
  • Prospect and identify potential clients through various channels, including emails, cold outreach, networking, and referrals.
  • Qualify leads and schedule appointments.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close subscription deals and achieve monthly revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and address any concerns.
  • Conduct product demos and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of Chimoney's subscription plans to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Track and report on sales progress and key performance metrics towards goals.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and generate leads.

Qualifications

You will need to have:

  • Proven track record in business development or sales, with a focus on B2B software sales.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate the value proposition of Chimoney's subscription plans.
  • Familiarity with fintech industry trends and an understanding of payment solutions and software subscriptions.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely as a contract hire, while also collaborating with the broader sales team.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a passion for building client relationships and driving revenue growth.
  • Comfortable with cold calling and email outreach.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.

Benefits

  • Compensation
    • On-target Earning (OTE)
      • Up to ₦16,272,454 (annual in 🇳🇬) - The OTE includes the base salary and commission, calculated at 15% of closed deals.
    • Base Salary
      • Up to ₦2,400,000 (annual in 🇳🇬)
    • Commission
      • 15% of closed deals, based on performance metrics such as the number of qualified leads generated and closed deals.
  • Fully remote.
  • Monthly remote work perks.
