The Role

Job Title: Sales Application Engineer (Unifize)

Location: Bangalore (this is a full time, US Shift)

Salary range: 15L to 30L per annum

Note: This role requires working during US business hours to effectively support our customers.

The Role:

As a Sales Application Engineer at Unifize, you will play a pivotal role in our sales process by leveraging your technical expertise to understand customer needs and demonstrate how Unifize's software solutions can meet those needs. You will work closely with our sales team, providing technical support, conducting in-depth product demonstrations, and ensuring a seamless integration of our solutions into customer environments.

You will be reporting directly into the founding team and working out of our office in Bangalore.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand Customer Needs: Conduct detailed analysis of customers' technical requirements and challenges. Translate these into specific solutions using Unifize software, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct Product Demonstrations: Lead comprehensive product demonstrations and proof-of-concept exercises, highlighting the key features and benefits of Unifize software tailored to individual customer needs.
  • Respond to Technical Questions: Provide expert responses to technical queries from customers, addressing concerns related to software functionality, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team: Work in tandem with the sales team to identify potential customers, develop customized proposals, and formulate pricing and licensing strategies that meet both customer and company needs.
  • Provide Technical Support: Offer proactive technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers, ensuring swift resolution of issues and optimal use of Unifize software.
  • Stay Updated with Technology: Continuously update your knowledge on the latest software and technology trends, as well as new features and updates to Unifize products, to provide informed and relevant solutions to customers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably within the software industry.
  • Strong technical background with proficiency in software development, deployment, and integration.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a sales team and independently manage multiple customer engagements.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and other sales tools.
