As a part of the job role, you will collaborate across various workstreams, working closely with technology and product leaders to drive data technology decisions, innovations, and implementations. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of technical projects, managing timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and aligning project outcomes with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Plan, initiate, and oversee technical projects from inception to completion.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Coordination:
- Facilitate collaboration between engineering, product, design, and other teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related activities.
Timeline Management:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including milestones and deliverables.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential obstacles.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, including progress, risks, and issues.
- Ensure clear and consistent communication across all levels of the organization.
Resource Management:
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure project success.
- Manage project budgets and track expenditures to stay within financial constraints.
Process Improvement:
- Implement and promote best practices for project management to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Continuously evaluate and refine project management processes.
- Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and risk management plans.
- Ensure all project artifacts are up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years in technical project/program management.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development and technical concepts.
- Project Management: Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Organizational Skills: Effective multitasking and time management abilities.
