We are building our founding team and are looking for folks who are excited to get their hands dirty in a 0 to 1 journey. You will directly work with the founders. Your primary roles and responsibilities will evolve over time as the team grows.
As our first Solutions Engineer and Customer Success intern, you will be responsible for pre-sales, onboarding, and proactively ensuring success for our customers.
Customer success and centricity is the core at Zenskar. You will be the voice of the customer within the company.
More detail about the role:
- You will be responsible for progressing qualified sales opportunities to the point of commitment, manage multiple software implementation projects and ensure seamless onboarding.
- You will work closely with our sales reps, but given that we are a technical product, you will often be leading engagements, conducting demos, and handling questions and objections.
- You will understand customers’ business and technical challenges, and recommend solutions using Zenskar.
- You will work with customers to learn their requirements, deeply understand their data and existing pricing models, and transform them into Zenskar’s configuration.
- You will build the initial sandbox during the pilot, recommend implementation approaches, including integrations with existing tooling such as hubspot, salesforce and so on.
- You will communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand their points of view and to discuss your own ideas.
- You will also work directly with our product teams, championing the customer and ensuring their feedback drives product improvements.
- You will also drive the client onboarding lifecycle from pilot to implementation to going live .
📎 Key qualifications
Technical Qualifications
- Prefer a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar relevant field or equivalent technical experience.
- You will have broad technical knowledge, programming skills, and a good understanding of API-driven systems and web architectures. A “builder” mentality that loves to tinker with technology is an asset. You have experience programming in Python.
- Very comfortable using web based software.
- Basic SQL knowledge is required. Intermediate SQL knowledge is a plus.
- You have excellent technical skills. You are able to analyse data presented in multiple formats quickly. You have experience with Python and transforming data. Experience with AWS or other cloud computing services is preferred but not required.
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to solution how data flows between multiple systems based on customer use cases
Communication Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of effectively explaining complex subjects to a wide range of external and internal stakeholders clearly and understandably.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex subjects, your point of view and discuss your own ideas with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (both internal and external) regarding trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.
Customer Empathy
- Ability to understand and shape the product at a granular level
- Ability to empathise with the end user, and understand their pain points
- Strong analytical skills and a structured problem-solving approach
Work Hours
- Willing to work in the US time zone (~4 am IST) on weekdays (Mon-Fri) because the majority of our clients are based in the US. You have full flexibility on when you want to start your day.
Working Style
- Entrepreneurial drive, and willingness to wear multiple hats as per company’s requirements
- Willingness to get your hands dirty and proactively do the grunt work in the early days.

💰 Compensation
- Fixed: INR 18,000 - INR 25,000 per month
