About the Role: We are seeking an experienced DevOps/CloudOps Engineer to build and maintain a robust and scalable infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). In this role, you will be responsible for automating and streamlining the deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud-based applications and services, ensuring high availability, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:
• CI/CD Pipeline Design: Develop and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment processes using Google Cloud tools such as Cloud Build, Artifact Registry, and Cloud Deploy.
• Infrastructure Provisioning: Provision and configure GCP infrastructure resources (e.g., Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Container Management: Implement and maintain containerized application deployments on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), ensuring efficient resource utilization, scalability, and high availability.
• Monitoring and Logging: Develop and maintain monitoring and logging solutions using GCP services like Cloud Operations, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Monitoring, ensuring proper visibility and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Security and Compliance: Implement and manage cloud-native security and compliance practices, leveraging GCP services like Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cloud Security Command Center, and Cloud Data Loss Prevention.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize cloud infrastructure and workloads for performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability, utilizing GCP services like Cloud Autoscaler, Cloud Load Balancing, and Cloud CDN.
• Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to understand application requirements and provide DevOps best practices and solutions.
• Automation: Automate and orchestrate cloud operations using tools like Google Cloud SDK, gcloud, and Cloud Shell.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP services, features, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in DevOps and cloud engineering roles, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.
• Extensive experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, particularly Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go, and experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment strategies.
• Familiarity with cloud-native application architectures, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, compliance frameworks, and GCP security services.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools and practices.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., Google Cloud Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus.
