The role
We're seeking a seasoned and highly accomplished Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in shaping the Roqit platform. This is a thrilling opportunity to come aboard at a pivotal stage, where your expertise can truly influence our strategy and drive innovation forward. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in building and optimizing the Roqit platform, contributing to its scalability, reliability, and performance. Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions for the Roqit platform.
• Design and implement infrastructure as code solutions
• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Recruit, develop and manage a team of software developers and engineers operating at a cross-functional level.
• Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and ensure reliability.
• Partner closely with Product teams to define roadmaps and long-term engineering roadmaps to facilitate rapid development and scaling
• Implement security best practices to safeguard platform data and infrastructure.
• Collaborate and mentor the development team while providing thoughtful guidance using code, design and architecture reviews.
• Evaluate technical solutions and partnerships that contribute to the growth phase of ROQIT.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending innovative

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of professional experience in delivering value through software in DevOps with a focus on cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• 4+ years of managing engineering teams at any level
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Strong proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficient with Multi-tenant architecture for a SaaS application
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or CircleCI.
• Demonstrated experience in integrating cutting-edge technologies such as IoT devices, data analytics, and artificial intelligence into software solutions.
• Proven track record of driving innovation and implementing sustainable practices within the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE technologies, frameworks and design patterns
• Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
