Job Description:
We are looking for a versatile and experienced DevOps/Systems Administrator with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in managing and deploying infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of DevOps practices, system administration, and experience with ML Ops, with bonus points for prior work in the healthcare industry. This role might involve travel to client locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure both on-premises and in the cloud (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI to automate deployment and testing processes.
- Configuration Management: Utilize configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet to ensure consistent and efficient deployment processes.
- Monitoring and Logging: Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk to ensure system health and performance.
- Security: Ensure the security of infrastructure by implementing best practices and compliance with healthcare industry standards (e.g., HIPAA).
- Backup and Recovery: Design and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development teams to optimize the software development life cycle and ensure seamless integration between development and operations.
- Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize system performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues.
- Cloud Migration: Assist in the migration of applications and services from on-premises to cloud environments, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
- ML Ops Integration: Support machine learning operations (ML Ops) by managing infrastructure and tools that facilitate the deployment, monitoring, and scalability of ML models.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity.
- Healthcare Focus: Leverage knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards to ensure compliance and improve the reliability of healthcare applications.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to improve infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Client Interaction: Be prepared to travel to client locations as needed to provide on-site support and deployment services.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps and system administration, with proficiency in managing both on-premises and cloud deployments. Previous experience in the healthcare industry is highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and on-premises infrastructure.
- Proficiency in automation and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Understanding of network and security best practices.
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
- Experience with machine learning operations (ML Ops) and relevant tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow) is a significant advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry standards (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.
