Quality Assurance Analyst (Manual/Automation Tester)

We are building something new and exciting at Qapital! To help us build this, we are looking for experienced product managers, quality assurance analysts (manual/automation testers), and software developers to join a founding team of startup-minded individuals that will lay the groundwork for our new fintech offering.

This team will play a pivotal role in spearheading innovation. As such, you will have the opportunity to shape the early architecture and design of the product, and set the trajectory for its future direction. Key responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones to shape new development and deliver products while ensuring product quality.
Translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans (including test cases, testing strategies, regression plans, etc.) and executing.
Document testing phases and defects and follows-up on resolution.
Actively participate in product reviews, ensuring product quality standards are met before release.
Build and contribute to testing infrastructure and tools at an early stage.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously refining our product testing processes..

Minimum qualifications:
2+ years of work experience in QA
Basic SQL knowledge
A very strong written communicator that is comfortable with ambiguity
Experience in building B2C or B2B2C products
Experience building products 0-1
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Preferred qualifications:
1+ years of QA automation experience
API and database testing experience
Worked at startups and/or fintech companies
