Founding Engineer Sr. Full/Front End Developer

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a full stack developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the web application that powers the system our staff will use to generate training data for our LLMs. You will be the lead engineer on this project and will be responsible for the implementation and support of both front-end and back-end components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Next.js/React development, with expertise in AWS and supporting libraries such as SST, Mantine, AuthJS, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain robust and scalable web applications using Next.js
• Collaborate with the CTO and CEO to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience
• Design and implement server-side logic using Node.js and other relevant technologies
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring a smooth and efficient development workflow
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency across the team

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience in Node.js and JavaScript development
• Expertise in Next.js framework and its core components
• Proficiency in React, HTML5, CSS3, and Mantine
• Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL) and database design principles
• Experience with version control systems, such as Git
• Experience in responsive web application development
• Knowledge of deployment strategies and related configurations management
