Senior or Intermediate Digital Marketing Manager

Justice Marketing, a marketing agency devoted to scaling the change of good causes, is looking for a Senior or Intermediate Digital Marketing Manager to join the team. We are a young agency, only one year old, and are looking to expand quickly as we add new clients.

We pitch ourselves as offering an opportunity many nonprofits and justice organizations don’t often have: the ability to have senior marketing expertise and implementation that would normally cost them more than they can afford to build in-house. The goal is for them to feel as much like they have a senior marketing team as possible.

Our main focus in our services is marketing strategy, branding, content marketing, social media marketing, social video creation, social ad management, copywriting, design, and project management.

We are looking for a self starter who can work as the go between for strategy and implementation. Being able to work with the founder on strategy itself while then translating that into a process and implementation that is able to bring the strategy to life is the key skill here.

At this stage, that may involve a good amount of implementation as well, but the goal will be for this role to be focused as much as possible on that middle ground between strategy and implementation, where processes are the focus. Ideally, this role would then work with the correct implementers to make those processes come to life.

Ultimately, the bigger dream is for this to be a full partner role with the Founder and Senior Strategist. Since this will be the first major role added alongside him, there is enormous potential for growth. That bigger work won’t just be in the marketing work itself, but in building out Justice Marketing as a whole.

For now, this will be a contractor position, until we have enough clients to build out a full time role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work directly with the founder to turn strategies into implementation plans, then work together to execute those plans.
• Manage and work with other contractors who will be involved with implementation.
• Engage directly with clients to ensure smooth operation between the teams.
• Create content and social media calendars.
• Create some social media content when needed.
• Build out internal processes to better handle client flow and needs.
• Examine analytics and results to assess success and reevaluate strategy regularly

Requirements:

• Experience having run successful social media and content campaigns for causes and nonprofits
• The ability and interest to be proactive as a leader and make strong decisions while still maintaining a kind atmosphere and culture with those you work with.
• Experience and knowledge in Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook. Experience with Bluesky and/or Threads is a bonus.
• Ability to read and assess the data around campaigns and derive strategic conclusions from them
• The ability to balance the analytical and creative sides of marketing.
• Skilled in using Asana, Sprout Social, Buffer, analytics tools, and Canva.
