The Role

We are seeking a high-caliber Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts for a key Synthetix app integrator (to be announced). This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and execute the entire marketing strategy for an innovative DeFi project, backed by the support and resources of the Flywheel team.

As the primary owner of all marketing initiatives for this integrator, you will have significant autonomy to develop, implement, and oversee all marketing activities. You'll work at the intersection of cutting-edge DeFi technology and innovative marketing strategies, playing a crucial role in driving the success and adoption of exciting DeFi projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and execute all marketing efforts and strategy development for the Synthetix app integrator.
2. Develop and implement comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategies to drive growth, engagement, and adoption.
3. Create and oversee production of all marketing content, including social media, blog posts, newsletters, and educational materials.
4. Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns to increase awareness and user acquisition.
5. Guide brand development and positioning within the competitive DeFi landscape.
6. Collaborate closely with the integrator's team to align marketing efforts with product development and business goals.
7. Analyze marketing performance metrics and adjust strategies to optimize ROI and user engagement.
8. Manage relationships with influencers, media outlets, and partners within the DeFi space.
9. Represent the integrator at industry events, conferences, and community gatherings.
10. Coordinate with Synthetix's broader marketing initiatives to ensure alignment and maximize synergies.
11. Educate and engage with the community about the integrator's role within the Synthetix ecosystem.
12. Stay at the forefront of DeFi trends and marketing best practices, particularly those relevant to Synthetix and its ecosystem.

Team Structure and Support

As the marketing lead for this integrator, you'll be supported by our tight-knit, 4-person squad of DeFi natives at Flywheel. While you'll have significant autonomy in decision-making, you'll have the full support of our team to execute your vision and strategies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong preference for crypto/DeFi sector experience.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies for tech products or services.
• Strong understanding of the Synthetix protocol and the broader DeFi landscape.
• Excellent knowledge of digital marketing channels and best practices, particularly in community-driven environments.
• Experience with marketing analytics tools and data-driven decision making.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills with the ability to explain complex DeFi concepts to various audiences.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead initiatives.
• Proficiency with software such as Notion, Linear, Ghost, Figma, Matomo, Discord, Telegram, Twitter, and Reddit.
• Deep understanding of DeFi concepts and best practices for marketing in the crypto space.
