Role Description
- Lead our new business development efforts, taking ownership of setting and achieving ambitious targets.
- Translate the agency's overarching objectives into actionable plans, identifying key sectors, types of work, and strategies for acquiring new clients.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to adapt our existing portfolios into compelling new business opportunities.
- Drive the implementation and management of our sales process, from lead generation to pipeline management and reporting.
- Establish clear targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with our business development strategies.
- Proactively identify event opportunities for engaging with prospective clients and nurturing relationships.
- Build and leverage strong relationships with industry leaders to identify potential business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
- Stay ahead of the curve by monitoring new markets, emerging trends, and competitor activities, and recommending innovative products/services.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and excellence within your team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
What We're Looking For:
- You have a proven track record of success, with 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, and account managment (previous experience in an PR/design/marketing/adverstising is a bonus)
- Your leadership skills are second to none, and you have a demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results.
- You possess strong analytical capabilities, enabling you to understand key business indicators and develop effective strategies to address challenges.
- Consultative selling comes naturally to you, and you're passionate about coaching and mentoring your sales team to reach their full potential.
- Collaboration is key in this role, and you thrive in a cross-functional environment where teamwork is essential.
- Your communication and presentation skills are exceptional, allowing you to effectively articulate complex ideas and build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
