The Role

StratDev Digital Marketing is looking for a dynamic and qualified individual to join our in-house team at our full-stack digital marketing agency as an Account/Project Manager. This is a very versatile role that will include a lot of different tasks across a variety of projects, including managing both internal and client relationships. The position is 40 hours a week, and is entirely remote. Your hours of availability will be 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, Pacific Standard Time (PST) with a 1 hour break allocated whenever you choose to take it. You will be reporting directly to the VP of Operations.

This job requires an intermediate level of proficiency with a wide variety of softwares, as well as the willingness and ability to develop skills in others. Strong organizational, software, deadline management, and people skills are essential to your success. While tasks will vary from day to day, you will often be setting up/attending client facing meetings, managing StratDev team members to complete client deliverables, working within our project management softwares (ClickUp), generating/sending client facing documentation and reports, performing administrative and organizational tasks, and more.

Being a startup agency, the work that you do will make a direct impact, not only on StratDev, but also each and every client that we serve. There is always learning involved in the digital marketing field, however commitment to the quality of your work not just expected, but required.

Account/Project Manager responsibilities may include:

  • Client facing and managerial tasks with same day turnaround.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships through web conferencing, email, and web communication softwares (Slack).
  • Managing internal teams and departments to complete projects and deliverables on set deadlines.
  • Identifying and making proactive pivots in client engagements/relationships.
  • Supporting team members with project organization using project management software.
  • Generating/sending marketing reports and documentation to clients for various initiatives.
  • Using a wide variety of softwares to complete administrative tasks
  • Updating internal databases, spreadsheets, and documents.
  • Providing regular updates to the clients and executive team regarding initiative statuses.

Account/Project Manager Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience in account and/or project management within the marketing, digital marketing, advertising, or other related fields.
  • EXCEPTIONAL formal and informal English spoken and written communication skills, including the ability to draft and edit documents in English. Non-exceptional English speakers will not be considered.
  • Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication and people skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects.
  • Understanding of basic marketing principles and techniques, especially regarding web design, SEO, digital ads, social media, outbound prospecting, and marketing strategy.
  • Working knowledge of go to market, omnichannel, and technical digital marketing principles.
  • Ability to use and quickly learn softwares/tools such as ClickUp, Figma, Canva, Webflow, Wordpress, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Instantly, etc.
  • Proficient in business productivity tools including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Slack etc
  • Good personality and a positive attitude!
