Coblrshop is seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Engineer / Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our fast-growing team. As a key leadership role, the CTO will be instrumental in shaping the technological direction of our company, taking our product from MVP and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of our technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market needs.
- Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation to implementation, focusing on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, product, and business development to integrate business requirements into technology decisions.
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language for non-technical stakeholders, fostering effective communication and understanding across the organization.
- Cultivate a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the technology team.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, leveraging insights to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
- Have a scrappy mindset and comfort leveraging off the shelf solutions instead of building solutions from scratch
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in B2B SaaS development and building business management and point of sale software.
- Proven track record of successfully leading technology teams in a startup environment.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, architectural patterns, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Low-ego attitude with a passion for mentoring and developing team members.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset, capable of balancing technical excellence with business priorities.
- Experience / familiarity with building AI/MLmodels
