WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Own the tech. You’ll own pega6’s technology vision and strategy as well as lead technological development for the software platform that will enable our trade schools to scale. You’ll stay on top of industry trends and selectively implement the best technologies and practices.
• Create the curriculum. You’ll create the résumé for the perfect entry-level software developer, and then we’ll work together to reverse engineer a project-oriented curriculum that will enable students to get there in 12 months.
• Coach ‘em up. Rather than classroom lectures, you’ll be laying out the parameters for student projects and coaching early students along the way via guidance, insights, and mentorship.​

WHO YOU ARE

• Harvard or bust. You have a 4-year degree from a top university . . . kidding! The whole point here is that colleges are failing us, so I don't give two hoots what college you went to.
• Lead or die. You’ve not only recruited, molded, and grown legendary engineering teams, but you also love mentoring, teaching, and leading so much that Elon Musk once told you to “chill out.”
• Alien-grade product. You’ve created technology so amazing that they will impress alien civilizations digging through Earth’s ruins 10,000 years from now.
• Allergic to dogma (but not to dogs; they’re adorable). Your decisions are driven by what the best solution is, not because it’s the way “things have always been done” nor just because it’s the newest, hippest trend.
• Modern-day Archimedes. You are an intensely intellectually curious person who is energized by digging more deeply to understand what makes things tick and how to make them better.
• Love a $%!#show. You not only have extensive experience working in a startup environment – fast paced, multiple hats, changing priorities, high intensity – but you can’t even stand the thought of working in a role where the days turn out exactly as you’d planned.
• A wonderful paradox. You are professionally driven but personally laid back, rational but empathetic, smart but humble, independent but highly collaborative, and strategy-minded but execution-oriented.​

WHO YOUR CO-FOUNDERS ARE

Since the three of us are going to be working together more closely than Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, and Ice Cube, you’ll probably want to know more about us (spoiler: we're a $^%#ing delight!) . . .

• Our bona fides. JEREMY (CEO) is a multi-exit startup exec with extensive experience building, scaling, funding, and exiting tech startups. CODY (CPO) is a seasoned product exec who creates and executes winning product strategies, builds cross-organizational product engines, and scales high-performing product organizations.
• Our business philosophies. CODY branded "Be bold, fail smart, and create substantial value" on her left calf. JEREMY has a huge back tattoo that says, "Be hungry, have fun, and do the right thing."
• Our passions. JEREMY geeks out over sci fi, American history, sports, and working (hey, working can be a passion!). CODY loses her %^$&ing mind over fitness, family, and traveling.
• Personal Fun Facts. CODY played national-level women's rugby and has her bodybuilding pro card (remember when she said fitness was her passion?) JEREMY doesn't like plays or musicals, but he is obsessed with Hamilton.
• Three Words to Describe Us. 4 out of 5 dentists say that JEREMY is rational, fair, and quirky. A survey of 100 people revealed that CODY is passionate, optimistic, and strategic.
