Specialist ESINET SME (Onsite)

Job Title: Specialist ESINET SME (Onsite)
Pay Rate: $120-125 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 35 hours
Location: 2 MetroTech Center, Brooklyn, NY 11201

Responsibilities:

• Manage NG911 system implementation, ensuring compliance with NENA and APCO standards.
• Interconnect Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) for 911 program.
• Produce ESINET Core Services device configuration templates.
• Configure and deploy ESINET Network Technology.
• Provide test cases and risk identification for ESINET integration.
• Develop OSP connectivity best practices for PSAPs.
• Review and approve vendor designs for compliance with NYC standards.
• Participate in ESiNET network breakout session meetings.
• Provide descriptive network details of ESiNET infrastructure for PSAP.

Mandatory Skills/Experience:

• 12+ years experience in technical/business applications.
• Familiarity with networking equipment and protocols.
• Understanding of ESINET NENA i3 network design.
• Knowledge of SIP design and implementation.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of network routing protocols like BGP.

Desirable Skills/Experience:

• Ability to create and maintain detailed network documentation.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration.
