Expert Software Analyst

Position: Expert Software Analyst
Duration: 30 months
Location: Albany, NY – Onsite
Hourly Wage Range: $40 to $45 per hour

Qualifications:

• Software Analyst: Conducts software application domain studies, prepares software requirements/specification documents, and acts as a liaison between users and developers.
• Expertise: Requires 84+ months of experience providing guidance, extensive industry knowledge, and top-tier proficiency in the field.
• Experience: 84 months in software, business, and data analysis for multi-year projects; 60 months in testing web-based software with SQL queries; 60 months using HP Quality Center/ALM or similar; 48 months in agile projects; 48 months in .Net development.
• Certification: IIBA Professional Certification; Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field.

Day-to-Day Tasks:

• Collaborate with end users, analyze existing documentation, and document business system requirements.
• Analyze current business processes, identify improvements, and document new business requirements.
• Develop and maintain all Software and Business Analysis documentation.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, training materials, and user support guides.
• Ensure appropriate test coverage and participate in user acceptance testing.
• Identify and document application defects, track resolutions, and conduct retesting as needed.
