SEO Content Lead at B2B Software Review Site (Remote)

Each day our site does battle with hundreds of competitors who are trying to beat us in the SERPs. We hold our own against huge sites like Forbes, G2, and Capterra and have carved out a large part of a growing niche through creativity and staying on top of what’s next in SEO.

We’re now looking for a full time remote SEO cum Content expert to join our ranks and help us continue to grow. Responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with the content team (in house + freelancers) to build the right content
• In depth research to find new content opportunities
• Analyzing our existing content to find re-fresh opportunities
• Owning the content editing for SEO content our site
• Competitor analysis
• Working with design/development to improve page experience (UX and CWV)
• Helping our pages retain & improve visibility across various SERP features
• Strategize and execute our link building efforts (HARO, guest posts, outreach, digital PR, podcast, etc.)

We’re looking for someone who:

• Lives and breathes SEO – you follow the relevant people on Twitter, hang out in SEO focused online groups, and stay up to date on relevant SEO blogs
• Has a strong track record of growing organic traffic in competitive niches
• Is a native english speaker
• Is deeply familiar with tools like AHREFs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4, Screaming Frog, etc.
• Loves remote work and appreciates the flexibility it affords
• Wants to work on a small, entrepreneurial team
• Explores problems with a curious and open mind
• Uses data to test decision making
