Senior Director Finance

Role : Senior Director Finance

Job Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:

• Oversee the preparation and presentation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy
  and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  
• Manage the company's financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,
  and general ledger
  
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for financial reporting and internal controls
  
• Communicate financial results to key stakeholders, such as the board of directors, investors, and
  lenders

2. Planning and Analysis:

• Develop and implement financial plans and budgets, including long-term financial forecasts and
  strategic plans
  
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  
• Monitor performance against budget and forecasts, and take corrective action as needed
  
• Develop financial models and scenario analysis to support decision-making
  
• Provide strategic financial advice to the members of the core team

3. Risk Management:

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to manage financial risks, including credit risk,
  market risk, and operational risk
  
• Monitor and assess the company's overall risk profile
  
• Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  
• Manage financial risks and ensure the organization's financial stability by monitoring cash flows,
  analyzing financial statements, and identifying potential areas of concern

4. Treasury:

• Manage the company's cash and liquidity, including cash flow forecasting and management of
  bank accounts
  
• Develop and implement cash management policies and procedures
  
• Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions
  
• Identify and execute financing opportunities, such as debt or equity offerings
  
• Lead fundraising initiatives and work closely with investors and banks to secure funding

5. Taxation:

• Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations
  
• Develop tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities
  
• Manage relationships with tax authorities and advisors
  
• Ensure accurate and timely tax reporting

6. Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  
• Manage relationships with regulators and auditors
  
• Ensure accurate and transparent financial reporting

7. Leadership and Management:

• Provide leadership to the finance team and develop a high-performance culture
  

• Recruit, develop, and retain top talent in the finance function

• Manage the performance of the finance team and provide feedback and coaching

• Collaborate with other departments and senior management to achieve the company's overall
  
  goals

• Work with internal stakeholders to ensure financial plans are aligned with business objectives and
  
  provide strategic guidance on financial matters

• Continuously evaluate and improve finance processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field. MBA, CA or CPA strongly preferred
  
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior
  leadership role. Experience preferred in IT service company
  
• Demonstrated experience in managing financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, and
  fundraising initiatives
  
• Demonstrated experience in managing entities located in India and US
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic guidance on
  financial matters
  
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to a
  variety of stakeholders
  
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external
  stakeholders
  
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
