What would be my role in ACT?

Understand our easy to maintain legacy backend system (currently a monolith architecture built with microservice based architecture in mind using Java Spring Boot, Kotlin - but with separation in mind)

Further develop a scalable backend architecture and process in compliance with best development practices including any kind of refactoring, code base strategy forward, full circle autonomous ai coding etc.

Input to DevOps team for optimizing deployment pipeline through CI, CD.

Implement new great features

Help launch the next major releases of the ACT shopping list app that will make ACT scale globally

Next prepare launch to a larger market in Europe

Work closely with the frontend to ensure interoperability, high availability and quality of the complete solution

What skills do I need to accomplish this?

3-5 Years of experience with Kotlin development

Experience with Java development

TDD, CI, CD

AI based autonomous development

Scrum-based development

Plus with experience in:

Full circle AI based autonomous development including building, unit testing, integration testing, reviewing against architecture and existing code + human review.

DevOps, Linux commands/batch scripting

Property Graph databases and scaling

Development and production pipeline telemetry

Feature switching, trunk based development

PostgreSQL

GCP, Kubernetes/Cloud Run

Web development, React

We’ve all been there, and yet there we are around 20(!) people literally infected with ACT’s vision (we are now fairly close to launch of a pivot launch of backend and frontend, very interesing developer challenges ahead).
