Othram is the world’s only laboratory purpose-built to combine genome sequencing with advanced human identification applications. The laboratory, based in The Woodlands, Texas, is also the only facility in the United States or Canada offering end-to-end, in-house processing from forensic evidence to investigative leads. Over the last three years, this technology has helped law enforcement crack hundreds of cases at the local, state, and federal level, many of which had been unsolved for decades.
The Account Executive is a full-time position, responsible for the effective execution of secured business with Othram accounts. This includes successful management of contracts and ensuring client satisfaction. Additionally, the Account Executive is responsible for developing long-term relationships with clients. This includes increasing or extending relationships with clients and offering new products or services. The Account Executive will have proven experience building on existing relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, and operating as an effective problem solver. The account executive proactively identifies growth opportunities for clients before a need or gap has been stated.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain long term relationships with clients through partnerships and understanding client needs
- Communicate internally to manage clients within the sales organization and management
- Identify and present opportunities for growth and expansion of existing program and services
- Present to customer/ customer base as needed
- Answer questions about Othram's services and technical capabilities
- Build trusted relationships and manage client expectations
- Meet or exceed organizational sales goals
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an external sales or account management role
- Ability to manage multiple accounts while developing new opportunities
- Ability to understand client needs, preferred experience working with law enforcement, familiarity with DNA forensics
- Effective problem solver
- Experience in public speakingExcellent verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to independently manage time and workload
- Motivated self-starter with the ability to work collaboratively and independently, in a fast-paced environment
- Must be willing and able to travel 50% of the time
