Campus Marketing Representative - Spring 2024

Tykoon Sports, a black-owned NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) marketing agency, is excited to offer dynamic Campus Representative positions in two distinct categories: Content Creation and Marketing. Our Campus Representatives play a crucial role in building relationships with college athletic departments and enhancing the visibility of Tykoon Sports and its athletes.

Content Creators:

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with athletes to create engaging and high-quality video and photographic content
• Utilize video shooting, editing, and photography skills to showcase athletes' personalities and stories
• Receive mentorship and guidance from industry experts in entertainment, video production, and related fields
• Work closely with Marketing Representatives to align content with overall brand and marketing strategies
• Provide regular updates on content progress with the Tykoon Sports team

Marketing Representatives:

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary liaison between Tykoon Sports and college athletic departments
• Build strong relationships with coaches, athletes, and other key stakeholders
• Identify and recruit talented college athletes interested in developing branded merch or securing brand deals through Tykoon Sports
• Execute content strategies and ideation for content rollouts, collaborating with Content Creators
• Attend sporting events to network with potential athletes and industry professionals
• Stay updated on sports marketing trends through attendance at industry events and conferences

Qualities for Both Roles:

• Passion for college sports and in-depth knowledge of your school's athletic programs
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and attend events as needed
• Professional representation of Tykoon Sports and adherence to company values

Experience:

• Experience and coursework accepted in the following: business administration, communications, marketing, advertising, social media, film, theatre, media production, etc
• At least one year of marketing, social media management, or advertising experience
• Enrollment in college or recent graduates with a degree in sports management, marketing, or a related field is preferred
