About the team:

Join the team behind the Apple iPad app of the year 2022. Reporting directly to our Founder and CEO, Steven Chan, you will have a hand in shaping the future of Goodnotes. As we continue to grow, we need solid product leadership to help us improve our processes and take our digital paper app to the next level. You would be leading product managers across our iOS and cross-platform core product teams, as well as our AI feature development and marketplace. The team is very international, with your future coworkers being based across Asia and Europe.

About the role:

This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below:

• Develop and execute a product strategy that aligns with Goodnotes overall mission and objectives. Define product roadmap for our digital paper product, across mobile and web to align with business direction and company vision
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps, keeping in mind feature requests based on customer feedback and market trends
• Explore and innovate, shipping cutting-edge features for our users
• Lead the ideation, development, launching, and iteration of product features
• Collaborate and work closely with other stakeholders at Goodnotes, such as senior leadership, design, and engineering
• Manage a team of product managers
• Collaborate closely with operational leaders to drive operational improvements, leveraging analytics and business intelligence tools to identify opportunities and implement solutions.

The skills you will need to be successful in the above:

• Proven experience in product leadership roles, with a passion for building products that make an impact customers love
• A solid track record of shipping successful products, across multiple platforms
• Ability to work in a flexible manner and thrive in ambiguous situations
• Experience managing a team of product managers and collaborating closely with engineering and design teams
• Strong analytical skills, making data-driven decisions
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Experience working in the productivity space is a plus

The interview process:

• An introductory call with someone from our talent acquisition team. They want to hear more about your background, what you are looking for, and why you’d like to join Goodnotes
• A role-specific call with one of our product managers. This is where you get to see what it would be like working at Goodnotes as well as the chance to ask any job specific questions
• A one-hour call with your hiring manager. This is the person who will be managing you day to day, working on your growth and development with you as well as support you throughout your career at Goodnotes
• A one-hour call with 2-3 stakeholders you’d work closely with
