Elementum is looking for an Accounting Manager with a primary focus on accounting operations and revenue recognition activities. The Accounting Manager will lead the Accounting function and be an integral part of Elementum’s Operations team, providing both analysis and operational insight, as well as preparing monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements.
This position reports directly to the CFO/COO. As the leader of the accounting team, you’ll have the opportunity to set priorities and recommend new projects. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow your career and develop your leadership style in an ambitious, well-capitalized startup.
What is the IT Operations Role?
As part of the IT Operations team, you will be providing services and tools to support the company staff in a very dynamic and exciting environment. In order to support this 95% cloud-based IT infrastructure, your wealth of knowledge across various SaaS apps, wireless networking management, and ability to integrate multiple technologies such as Mac, DNS, Firewalls, SSO, Microsoft Products, Google Apps is a must. You will work closely with our local and remote team as you help us grow.
This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills. A good candidate will be able to contribute to scaling up and automating the IT infrastructure with thoroughness and self-sufficiency. Someone with previous experience in a fast past startup would be ideal.
Who you are:
- 5+ years supporting and monitoring day-to-day IT operations, managing Mac laptops in a corporate environment, and wireless network management
- Experience in LINUX or UNIX-like environments
- Experience in administering collaboration technologies, such as Google Apps, Microsoft Teams, audio/video conferencing (Zoom, and Google Hangouts).
- Experience solving problems and supporting users with strong customer service attitude
- Experience supporting IT in a Security conscience environment - SOC2, ISO 27001
- Experience in MDM (i.e. Kandji)
- Good working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, VPN and centralized desktop mgmt/network mgmt
- Some prior vendor management exposure
- Attentive to detail and change control issues
- Knowledge of SSO services like Okta and password managers like 1Password is a plus
- Proactively document processes and automate repetitive tasks through scripting
