We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Ad Operations Intern to join our team at Big Pond Podcasts. As a podcasting talent agency, we work with a diverse range of talented podcasters, helping them monetize their content through advertising partnerships. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience in ad operations within the podcasting industry.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the setup, management, and optimization of advertising campaigns for our podcasting talent, ensuring smooth delivery of ads across platforms.
Collaborate with the advertising team to traffic ad creatives, implement tracking codes, and troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise.
Monitor ad performance and conduct regular quality checks to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Generate reports on ad campaign metrics, such as impressions, clicks, and conversions, to provide insights for campaign optimization.
Assist in analyzing advertising data to identify trends, audience behaviors, and opportunities for ad targeting and optimization.
Support the implementation of ad operations best practices and contribute to the development of streamlined processes.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, ad tech advancements, and changes in ad platforms to ensure the agency's ad operations remain innovative and efficient.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Advertising, Marketing, Business, or a related field (or recent graduate).
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Familiarity with digital advertising platforms and technologies, such as Google Ad Manager, AdSense, or similar ad serving systems.
Basic knowledge of ad formats and industry standards (e.g., VAST, VPAID, ad tags, tracking pixels).
Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
