ABOUT THE RIGHT TEAM MEMBER
As a marketing manager, you will play a critical role in driving marketing programs and increasing demand generation through various marketing channels. You will work closely with the CMO and cross-functional teams to define business goals and translate those goals into omnichannel campaigns that drive engagement, seo rankings, acquisition, upsell and retention. This role offers substantial autonomy and room for growth reporting directly to the CMO. We’re looking for an experienced marketer with a passion for email marketing, content marketing, SEO, web copy and page creation, brand amplification, analytical skills, and the agility to build in a fast-moving startup environment. If you're someone who has creative instincts, strong communication and writing skills, and likes to win then this is the position for you.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Build and execute strong content marketing programs that drive google rankings, engagement and brand amplification.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales and product teams to support product marketing efforts as we launch new products or elevate existing ones.
- Act as the go-to-expert of Kudoboard’s key messaging, positioning and brand personality for content, email, and digital efforts.
- Own the success of content marketing, website content and email marketing.
- Be bold, creative and innovative — will do the same thing twice if it’s effective, yet never short on new ideas. Innovate with the new form of media relations, content and brand marketing, rather than maintaining the company’s status quo.
- Develop and execute lifecycle marketing strategies using channels such as email, content and digital.
- Work with creative and product resources to create engaging content, email programs and marketing programs.
- Build, maintain and monitor a comprehensive set of metrics and KPIs to measure the success of content, email marketing, and campaigns.
- Effectively drive up seo rankings and content engagement for our idea customer profiles (ICP)
- Support the growth of social campaigns, PR, brand amplification campaigns, and influencers.
- Manage content marketing contractors and act as the main point of contact for PR
- Act as a resource for company event marketing efforts.
- Adhere to our company values and actively contribute to elevating our company culture.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of marketing experience in content marketing, email marketing and web copy management.
- Experience at consumer, product led growth, and B2B SaaS companies is a plus.
- Skilled in creating, editing and promoting content.
- Passionate about storytelling and building a credible brand.
- Strong business acumen for prioritizing and driving key projects based on business impact.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and professionally with teams and leaders across regions and time zones.
- Proven experience of successfully collaborating and managing contractors (content, social, creative)
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment while collaborating across multiple projects to achieve business objectives.
- Growth mindset with a strong curiosity to learn. Celebrates failures and learnings versus deflecting or hiding them.
- Independent, self-starter attitude with the willingness to work hard to get the job done.
- Strong communication, active listening, and quantitative skills.
- Strong proficiency in CMS platforms (Wordpress, Drupal, etc.), Google Analytics, CRM system (Salesforce), and email marketing platforms
- Strong project management skills and proven track record of meeting deadlines
- Strong sense of ownership over everything you do.
