Field Operations AI Supervisor

ProducePay is a new tech-based cash flow solution that provides domestic and foreign fresh produce farmers (growers) who ship to the U.S. with immediate access to distribution and financing. ProducePay’s solutions provide the working capital for fresh-produce growers’ need to complete their harvest and grow.

By leveraging our international network, ProducePay connects clients with interested fresh produce buyers and distributors. Interested distributors receive connections to a growing list of international farmers who might otherwise feel limited by current financing options.

Job Description:

We are seeking a candidate who has experience applying artificial intelligence to agronomy and is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed. The ideal candidate will be a strong advocate for the development of our company's A.I. program, with a focus on creating solutions for Field Operations activities.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor AI applications for Field Operations activities
• Perform improvements of Field Operations processes and procedures using AI
• Analyzing and interpreting data to identify trends and patterns
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and objectives
• Designing and implementing data-driven decision-making processes
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
• Identifying new opportunities to leverage AI to improve Farm Inspector Operations processes and outcomes
• Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in AI and related technologies
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Developing and managing budgets, timelines, and resources for AI projects
• Elaborate control reports on tim

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields: Agronomy, Biology, Industrial Engineering, Biochemistry, Mechatronic, Systems Engineering, or similar
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI, such as Python and R
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques
• Experience with data analysis and modeling
• Ability to develop and implement data-driven AI applications
• Knowledge of database management systems
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
• Experience with statistical analysis and data visualization
• Understanding of neural networks and deep learning
• Familiarity with IoT technologies and sensors
• Experience with developing and implementing AI applications in a production environment.
• It would be advantageous if the candidate has knowledge or experience with horticultural crops
• Currently lives in Mexico
• Bilingual: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
