We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team and manage the deployment and maintenance of the Sherlock platform in AWS and Oracle cloud environments. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing complex cloud infrastructures and be well-versed in DevOps principles and practices. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, scalability, and reliability of the Sherlock platform, as well as implementing and maintaining automated monitoring using open source and commercial tools. You will work closely with the development team to optimize and streamline the development process, and create the necessary tools, scripts, and processes to ensure that code changes are automatically built, tested, and deployed to production.
Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain the Sherlock platform in AWS and Oracle cloud environments.
- Implement and maintain automated monitoring and alerting using open source tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Collaborate with the development team to implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and Gitactions.
- Manage and automate infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of the Sherlock platform.
- Identify and troubleshoot performance issues and implement solutions to optimize performance.
- Implement and maintain security measures to protect the Sherlock platform and its data.
- Document processes and procedures for infrastructure and automation management.
- Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure management, and automation.
- Experience with AWS and Oracle cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with open source monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Experience with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud infrastructure management.
- Experience with AI platforms and technologies is a plus
