About the job

We are looking for a Director of Revenue Operations who will partner with global Commercial leaders to provide critical reporting, enhance their execution, and increase productivity. You will lead efforts to gather, organize and validate data to generate deeper customer insight that will aid in the evaluation of operational initiatives and drive commercial success. Activities include developing and maintaining standard reporting methods to facilitate accurate reporting and analysis, assisting with data acquisition, and building a vision around tools and analyses that enhances decisions with purposeful insight and foresight. The role will be responsible for integrating business systems connected to Salesforce to provide centralized data from the customer first.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage quote to invoice process and planning workflows including forecasting, systems, and reporting
  • Provides support and analysis to company leaders to drive strategic initiatives which include ad-hoc reporting and analytics, and executive-level visualizations as needed
  • Develops processes and reports to best predict and evaluate the company's performance on an ongoing basis throughout the quarter and raises potential issues as appropriate
  • Responsible for customer data systems integrations
  • Works with sales leaders to improve whitespace visibility including researching and identifying tools that could help with this effort
  • Leads a team with differing expertise to work as a cohesive unit
  • Establish business processes for sales systems and reporting tools, and make recommendations for any improvements aligning with the needs of the team and organization
  • Actively engage cross-functionally with all business teams and address scalability, lead generation, go-to-market, and other challenges and initiatives driving automation for real-time decision-making
  • Supports the company’s long-term goals and leads critical, strategic, organizational, and operational goals
  • Work cross-functionally to establish a deal desk to support the Buy and Supply-side with data, analytics, pricing, and negotiations to expedite closing
  • Engages cross-functionally to help ensure successful acquisition integration and integrity of the acquired data
  • Deliver dashboards and reports to the Sales team and report on team performance to company stakeholders
  • Prepare budgetary recommendations that meet organizational and departmental goals and provide for effective management of resources
  • Manage the processes associated with the sales forecast, sales bookings, order log, and commission structure
  • Continuously measure and monitor alignment between the Sales Operations team and our company values and business objectives, making adjustments as needed

Requirements

  • 10+ years of people management experience within sales operations at a high-growth company
  • Ability to think creatively and tactically partner and engage with cross-functional teams and senior leaders
  • Passionate problem solver, organized and methodical, with a structured, data-driven approach
  • Must exhibit superior quantitative and communication capabilities
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment delivering accuracy while managing to deadlines where adaptability is imperative
  • Extremely organized with the ability to multitask
  • A strong desire for immediate impact and a bias for action
  • Must demonstrate true expertise in relevant business tools & systems administration including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel ( pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.) and Salesforce.com, along with strong analytical, reporting, and dashboard creation skills using BI tools such as Power BI, Einstein, etc.
