Java Backend Engineer( 0-2 yrs Exp only )

Qualitifciatons

• 0-2 Year of experience in software development.
• Hands on with Java, SQL and Git is must

Software Engineer day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Working with Java and SQL to design, develop and debug RESTful APIs
2. Integrating front-end services with backend APIs based on frontend needs
3. Writing clean, well-tested code which adheres to prevalent best practices, better if you follow Test Driven Development methodology
4. Working on structuring complex business logic into well-organized, reusable and modularised code with test cases
5. Creating and maintaining technical documentation

Skills and other requirements:

1. Good logical and problem-solving skills
2. Hands on with Java and Git is a must
3. Able to develop RESTful APIs using Spring Boot or any other Java Framework
4. Experience in writing Unit Testing using JUnit and Mockito
5. Good command over SQL and familiarity with at least one SQL DB (Postgres/MySQL, etc.)
6. Hands-on with Linux shell commands and able to handle application and database servers
7. Experience in writing SQL queries using CTEs is a plus

Additional Information

1. If you are not hands-on with any of the above technologies/frameworks, please complete tutorials in Udemy for Java, Sprint Boot, JUnit, and Postgres SQL then apply for the role
