Equity & Derivatives Trader

Position Summary:
Shankh.tech team at InfinityPool Finnotech is seeking qualified candidates for Equity and Derivatives Trader position. The successful candidate will work closely with our quant analysts and software developers to execute trades in equity and derivatives markets and implement investment strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Execute trades in equity and derivatives markets to implement investment strategies and manage investment risks.
• Monitor and analyze market trends and news to identify potential trading opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with quant analysts, software developers to develop and implement trading strategies based on market analysis and research.
• Maintain relationships with POC at execution systems and tools to ensure efficient and effective trade execution.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of investment portfolios and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and maintain trading systems and tools to support trading operations and decision-making.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, developments, and regulations related to equity and derivatives trading.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of equity and derivatives markets, including trading strategies, market structure, and regulatory requirements.
• 2+ years of experience in executing trades in equity and derivatives markets, preferably in a buy-side capacity.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in equity and derivatives trading in the financial services industry is preferred.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and deadlines.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at a given time.
