We are seeking a talented and motivated Machine Learning/Natural Language Processing Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Location: We are based out of San francisco. Current role will be remote with possibility of full time offer in NYC.

Role and Responsibilities: As a Machine Learning/Natural Language Processing Engineer at Otterz, you will play a pivotal role in developing and enhancing our AI capabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize machine learning and NLP models for the AI co-pilot.
Developing and fine-tuning models to handle bookkeeping tasks, provide actionable business insights, and offer intelligent management recommendations.
Utilizing Python programming skills to design and code robust and efficient algorithms, ensuring the AI bookkeeper seamless performance.
Conducting thorough research to stay updated with the latest advancements in machine learning, NLP, and banking technology.
Enhancing the AI bookkeeping, understanding of natural language and refining its ability to generate human-like responses.
Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure the AI co-pilotoperates smoothly and effectively.
Collaborating with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to iterate on models and improve overall user experience.
Participating in brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas to shape the future of AI-powered banking.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in developing and scaling backend applications with Python, preferably in a banking or financial context. Strong proficiency in Python programming, Fast API, Mongo DB and relevant libraries and an understanding of security practices and code revision methods are required. Familiarity with any of the following topics or libraries ; TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, spaCy). Knowledge of deep learning architectures, recurrent neural networks, and transformer models, financial concepts, bookkeeping practices, and business management is a plus.
