Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable systems and services.
2. Participate in design and code reviews.
3. Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
4. Build highly scalable API’s that are being continuously deployed and updated through an automated CI/CD pipeline.
5. Enable user analytics, logging, monitoring, instrumentation for all services.
6. Experience writing unit tests, integration tests, performance tests.
7. Collaborate with various team members and stakeholders on requirements definition and feature design and development.
8. Take part in agile ceremonies to estimate and execute programming projects.

Desired Skills and Experience:

1. 5+ years’ experience as a software engineer with excellent design, problem solving and debugging skills.
2. Polyglot programmer with experience in one or more of TypeScript, Python, Go.
3. Experience with web development using modern front-end frameworks.
4. Experience in building RESTful services using a design first approach.
5. Hands on experience with microservices developing cloud scale systems using serverless/managed services.
6. Proactive, thrives in a startup like environment with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
7. Passion for high-quality code, tests, CI/CD, documentation, and production services.
8. Experience with SQL as well as NoSQL for data persistence.
9. Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical peers.
10. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative startup like environment.
11. Experience in scrum and agile methodologies.

Education:
BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
