Position Summary
Farmers Business Network (FBN) is looking for a Systems Administrator who will play a key role in the implementation and support of FBN enterprise applications and environments across all business units. This strategic position will be part of a strong team that will play a pivotal role in supporting business technology.
To ensure success as a Systems Administrator, you should possess extensive knowledge of software system administration and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. System Administrators ensure that their application expertise translates into optimized business operations.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for user management, permissions, system features and integrations, data management, backup/recovery plans, system updates, and training staff on the effective use of a variety of software products.
Responsibilities
- Serves as lead subject matter expert for FBN’s enterprise software products. Has deep technical expertise in at least one of the following enterprise software products: Salesforce, NetSuite, Coupa, Xactly, Workday. This role will support multiple systems.
- Provides technical troubleshooting and tier 2 and/or tier 3 functional support for business users of FBN.
- Resolves broadly defined problems by identifying root cause and identifying creative solutions.
- Can identify hidden problems and look beyond initial answers.
- Manages security roles, access control, permission sets, user / system profiles, sharing rules, system / business process configuration, workflows, and groups.
- Creates and manages automations, including approvals, process builder, workflows, flow builder, and others.
- Maintains system environments (production and several non production), refreshes, and uptime.
- Maintains, configures and administers software packages and system backups.
- Builds custom reports and dashboards.
- Evaluates and installs new system releases.
- Documents processes, including error reports and changes to field history tables.
- Implements and follows the change management processes for the applications for which they are responsible.
- Manages and resolves support ticket submissions.
- Remains current on enterprise application best practices and technologies.
- Collaborates with developers, business system analysts, and solution architects to design scalable solutions, take advantage of new and existing software features, and provide excellent end user experiences.
- Assists staff across multiple departments within the organization to optimize their success.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar field
- 2-3 years of experience as a Systems Administrator in a similar environment
- Extensive experience in the administration and maintenance of enterprise level business application systems
- Experience in performing system upgrades and ensuring successful integration
- Exceptional ability to create and maintain databases
- In-depth knowledge of a variety of products and their functionalities or demonstrated past success in learning new systems, at a technical level, quickly.
- Proficiency in creating profiles, allocating roles, and managing access
- Proficiency in debugging system or data issues
- Experience in importing data, avoiding data integrity issues, and generating reports
- Ability to provide training and end-user support
- In-depth knowledge of integrations and modules
- Highly Organized
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Marketo, Salesloft, GeoPointe, Dialpad, and other integrations would be advantageous

*The following represents FBN's reasonable estimate of the Canada national average base salary range of possible compensation for this role based on market data and placement of internal employees: $65,000 - $80,000. *
