TITLE: Facilities Manager
REPORTS TO: General Manager, Assistant General Manager
DIRECT REPORTS: Facilities Supervisor, Facilities Technicians

WHO YOU ARE
A responsible team leader with the ability to manage all aspects of the venue’s maintenance and technical functions by leading the team to create a memorable and engaging experience for each guest.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead the Facilities team to maintain museum-quality aesthetics throughout the venue’s installations, technical features, and back of house areas while innovating, improving, and adapting standards and processes.
- Project manage, delegate, and participate in tasks in terms of repairs, improvements, and updates to the venue.
- Develop and execute project proposals with an established timeline and budget.
- Provide meaningful feedback, set clear expectations and goals, and create individual development plans to facilitate team growth and establish an internal bench of high potential team members.
- Screen job candidates and facilitate informative and professional interviews.
- Troubleshoot and develop long-term solutions for operational challenges and technical issues that affect the overall guest experience.
- Track department inventory needs and orders supplies as needed, while remaining within budget.
- Execute shift meetings that are well-planned, collaborative, educational and motivational.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and contractors, and coordinate and schedule walkthroughs and inspections as needed.
- Maintain proper safety and sanitary protocols and procedures.
- Participate in all other projects tasks as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years or older.
- 3-5 years of relevant leadership experience in a high-volume environment.
- Must have a strong understanding of proper repair and maintenance concepts.
- Must have a working knowledge of basic hand and power tools.
- Must have experience in mediation and effective conflict resolution.
- Must have the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Must be detail-oriented, punctual, and reliable.
- Must be inclusive and discerning.
- Must be able to participate in all essential job functions, including lift/carry 50+ lbs.
- Must be flexible with tasks throughout the work day.
- Open availability is required (including weekends & holidays).
