Build the product that powers better access to banking

Prelim is how banks onboard their customers for business checking accounts, personal loans, etc online. Prelim is a platform that banks white label to match the bank's design that automates the digital opening of all the bank's products and services.

Join us as we increase access to banking and financial services, helping banks and financial institutions provide a better, more modern experience. We're a fully remote US team, and are live with several of the largest banks in America.

You will:

• Work up and down the stack, from UX to backend to polish, fix, and build the product.
• Triage issues and own parts of the codebase.
• Design and build architecture and lead implementation
• Work with the team to build new product features, focusing on the overall architecture and implementation.
• Help keep the product secure by building, maintaining and understanding security features.

You may be a fit for this role if you:

• 2-3 years experience as a software engineer.
• Have experience working on both the frontend and backend.
• Think about modularity and write high quality code. We work mostly in React and Node.js. However, languages can be learned: we care much more about your general engineering skill than knowledge of a particular language or framework.
• Hold yourself and others to a high bar when working with production systems.
• Are self-­aware, have a positive attitude, a sense of humor, and are empathetic.
