About the Role
We’re looking for a technical individual, who has a “hands-on” approach, thrives in working in fast-paced environments, and loves being of service to other customers. As a field operator, you will be in charge of the facility maintenance (technical and operational) of our UK-based locations and will work directly with the Operations Manager in the London Office.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is well-organized, motivated, and detail-oriented, and known for your sound judgment. Solving problems creatively and constantly looking for ways to improve processes are some of your strengths.
The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the operations team of a fast-growing company with huge potential. In this role, reporting to Operations Manager, we’re seeking a full-time person to execute the field operations in all of our UK locations.
The Responsibilities
- Portray extreme attention to detail including bug reporting, item check-ups, and inventory management.
- Conduct Camera and security checks of facilities as needed.
- Effectively communicate and resolve problems related to Field Operations by informing the appropriate people of any issues.
- Remotely support other operations controllers as necessary.
About You
You’re a motivational, hard worker, tech savy operator at heart, with a strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done. You fill comfortable operating equipment, hardware, and appliances. Keeping things organized and assembled excites you while solving problems with creative solutions.
You also have:
- At least 2 years experience with operations
- Meet quality and productivity standards as established by the department
- Experience troubleshooting software and hardware to resolve workflow issues, including occassionally lifting and handling objects
- Strong ability to analyze operational performance and optimize workflows where necessary
- Document all field activities and corrective actions accurately for future reference
- Ability to work flexible hours as our units operate 24/7 and emergency tasks might rise
- Ability to work one day on the weekend (Saturday or Sunday)
- Ability to travel short and long distances within the London metropolitan (and the general UK)
