About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced, motivated Director of Operations to build, oversee and master TULU UK’s operations.
You will work closely with the General Manager and other relevant team members on the overall operations strategy and vision.
You will join an extremely passionate and talented team and have a significant role in laying the foundations for TULU’s rapid growth and expansion towards creating the future way of consumption habits.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has proven experience in scaling operations, logistics, and managing teams, creating efficiency in inventory management, and likes to think big, and gets excited by new challenges!
About You
You are comfortable working autonomously and are obsessive about producing high-quality work; you’re eager to take on new projects without knowing exactly what you will uncover. You are a natural hustler with a contagious “can-do” attitude.
You use data and logic to identify opportunities, diagnose issues, evaluate alternatives, and synthesize and present critical information to solve complex problems. You thrive in fast-paced and dynamic environments and have a passion for operational supervision.
You also have:
- At least 5 years experience with managing at-scale field operations (in a PropTech startup is a plus)
- Thorough understanding of the overall delivery process, including a high-level picture of what each practice does and how everything fits together
- Superior analytical skills and operational modeling capabilities - able to gather, organize, analyze, visualize, and present data to enable decision-making
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured, fast-moving, and constantly evolving high-growth environment
- Understanding the operations, supply chain, and product offering of e-commerce, direct to consumer or a retail business is a big plus
- A willingness to deliver, even during non-routine hours when required.
- Ability to recruit, select, train, develop and motivate colleagues on the Operations Team. Supervise staff (in-house and external workers), provide coaching and performance development as needed.
- Know-how in expanding the product portfolio, opening new warehouse centers, and adding more vendors as needed.
