Lead Software Engineer (remote)

At Danomics we are developing a cloud-based software platform to support oil and gas exploration. We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to help evolve the future of the software.
As lead software engineer, our expectation is that you will lead development of major features and drive the development of our architecture. Your responsibilities will include growing the team and mentoring new team members

Required Skills and Qualifications:
• 5+ years of professional experience with software development
• Professional experience with React or Java
• Knowledge of version control (preferably Git).
• Degree in computer science or related field
• Strong background in math

Desired Additional Skills:
• Ability to solve problems while working independently
• Experience with established code bases in commercial software
• Strong communication skills, fluent in English

Location:
This is a remote position; you will be able to work from anywhere. Good phone and internet connections are requirements, and you must be available during core business hours.
