Mobile Developer

ZIBRIO is looking for a mobile app developer to join our fast moving startup team. The ideal candidate will have experience working across the entire development process (design, development, and deployment).

ZIBRIO is using space technology to help older adults live longer and higher quality lives by helping them to improve their balance and prevent falls. Our core product is a CES 2020 Innovation Award-winning Bluetooth enabled scale that runs a balance test and gives a balance score. Our consumer-facing mobile application allows users to track their balance and understand how to improve it.

We are headquartered in Houston, TX. This position will be a hybrid of working remotely and in-person. If desired, you can work remotely most of the time, but there are times when you will be needed in the office.

What will you do:
• Develop, document, test, and debug new and existing applications
• Participate in a full development life cycle including requirements analysis and design
• Build for mobile (iOS and Android) and for web
• Support mobile integration with Bluetooth connected hardware
• Establish and maintain good design practices and benchmarks
• Support a user-centered design process
• Support software products

Desired qualifications and experience:
• Product experience with Xamarin and Xamarin.forms (iOS and Android)
• Product experience with C#/.NET and Visual Studio
• Development and Integrations with REST API and Web Services

Nice to have:
• Experience with Bluetooth and Bluetooth LTE integration
• Experience with progressive web apps
• Experience with EHR (electronic health record) integration
• Android experience, you might even be an Android phone user yourself
• You can show us a working mobile app that you have built
