VP of Engineering – Startup + Equity

We are a group of motivated professionals attempting to streamline home buying by matching people to neighborhoods. We don’t have vanilla problems and we don’t have vanilla solutions. The problems you will help us solve will stretch across functional disciplines, programming languages, frameworks and platforms to guide everyday people in one of the most important buying decisions of their lives. Our work is meaningful and we have a lot of fun together. This role reports directly to the CTO.

You should expect:

● To initially be very hands-on.
● To deeply champion the company vision and mission, embracing and accomplishing shared product goals and objectives.
● To translate our product vision into a clear and actionable technology roadmap.
● To work closely with staff across departments to build feedback loops that address both sales and marketing insights.
● To manage and execute on multiple projects concurrently and meet shared deadlines.
● To engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.

Your experience:

● Bachelors or Masters in computer science or a related field.
● Previous experience at a startup company.
● ~10 years' relevant work experience as an individual contributor in software engineering or similar field preferred, 3-5 years of team leadership experience.
