SEO Analyst

We are looking for an analytical and perceptive professional who is a skilled communicator and able to collaborate with various teams. Current knowledge of SEO practices and techniques is essential to this role. SEO Analyst to manage all search engine optimization activities. Will manage all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks.

Responsibilities

• Track, report, and analyse website analytics.
• Perform keyword research in coordination with business objectives to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
• Provide recommendations and execute strategies for content development in coordination with SEO goals
• Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
• Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
• Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels
• Develop and implement link building strategy
• Work with the content team to ensure it properly implemented SEO best practices
• Work with content teams to drive SEO in content creation

Requirements

• Proven SEO experience
• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer engagement
• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Webtrends)
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
• Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics
• Knowledge of search engine algorithms
• Excellent communication skills
• Ambitious and hungry to achieve in a high growth start-up environment
• Learning attitude - should be able to learn fast and adapt fast in the ever-changing requirements of a start-up

Professional Skills & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc)
• BA degree preferred
