Application Support Engineer

As an Application Support Engineer, you will report directly to the lead of the Application support team. You will be responsible for second level support for the shared service team, ensuring the smooth operation of our applications and business-critical processes.

ABOUT THE TEAM
You will be part of the Shared Services and Finance IT team which provides superior solutions and services to all accounting and finance departments. We also provide support for M&A activities by the integration of legacy systems. Besides that, we also offer services to all merchant and customer-facing departments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Be the point of contact for our business users in daily service requests
• Monitor interfaces for our integration processes based on Jenkins
• Solve day to day business issues from processing independently
• Ensure stability of our banking processes using Multicash and CPWeb
• Support QA and developers during tests and ensure the quality of service
• Update and maintain our process operation documentation
  
• Define standards for operations in our team
• Identify and automate processes for reoccurring tasks within the team

YOUR PROFILE / DEIN PROFIL

• You're analytical, structured, solution-oriented, and have a self-reliant way of working
• You have a process-oriented mindset
• You have a good understanding of technical concepts and are able to communicate them clearly to colleagues with a business background
• You're experienced working with Linux and have professional knowledge of Jenkins pipelines
• You’re fluent both in English and in German

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience in SAP products and knowledge in SAP Customizing
• You have knowledge in professional cash management software - Multicash or CP Web
