The Role:
We're on the hunt for a skilled backend developer to profoundly influence our product's trajectory while enjoying the flexibility of full-time remote work. Our tech stack includes state-of-the-art serverless architecture and cutting-edge development processes. In close cooperation with our development, AI, and business divisions, you will play a pivotal role in architecting functionalities that boost retailer profitability and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

• Knowledge of Agile back-end development
• Direct collaboration with cross functional development teams such as AI and Frontend
• A keen eye for the consumer to continuously ensure the user benefit
• The drive to gain expert knowledge in back-end technologies
• The motivation to contribute to feature and quality improvements for the entire system
• Efficiency in coordinating with clients as well as in implementing excellent results
• Enjoy working on the complete Software Development life cycle
• Sense of ownership for the complete software feature: Ideation → Conceptualization → Implementation → Deployment → Monitoring

Requirements:

• Python
• Good to have: Typescript, Apache Kafka, Apache Cassandra, ElasticSearch, Docker
• You love Test Driven Development
• Passion for agile (Scrum) and clean code
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (or comparable)
• Must have at least 3 years work experience
• Fluency in the English language (written and verbal)
• A results-driven, structured and curious mindset
