epilot is building a SaaS product to sell complex products online, focusing first on solving ecommerce in the rapidly transforming energy market. Our mission: Make selling complex products as easy as selling a pair of shoes online.

We design software API First. Before we write a single line of code, we design the APIs of a service in a way that any other team, whether internal to epilot or external, can use the APIs interface with our service without prior knowledge.

Senior Full Stack Engineer (m/f/d).

What awaits you

• You’ll get familiar with our tech stack with microfrontends, serverless AWS and best-in-class developer tooling & automation. More info about our stack: Tech Stack (to name few keywords: Typescript, React, Svelte, microfrontends, AWS, serverless, microservices)
• You are part of an agile cross-functional team of full-stack, backend and frontend developers, as well as designers and product managers who are growing together and helping one another
• You will participate in exciting and diverse development projects using agile methods and the chance to pair and collaborate
• You will coach others to learn more, as well as be constantly learning new technologies yourself.
• In close collaboration with our product management and design teams, you deliver end to end features for our users
• You will not only help us to put our product vision into practice, but you will also play an active role in shaping it: e.g. if you have a great idea, you are free to write an RFC (request for comment) and take full ownership of the initiative from end-to-end

What you bring

• Ideally you have experience with React or other JavaScript frameworks
• Experience crafting and implementing RESTful micro-services or GraphQL
• Understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS industry with hands on experience with public OR private cloud offerings (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure)
• You are familiar with microservices based architecture patterns
• Experience in taking ownership of features, with a team on short and long-running projects
• Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies (e.g.,scrum, XP)
• You resonate with our engineering principles
• You think like an entrepreneur - you understand our business goals and how your daily decisions influence them.
• You don't see problems as a problem, but as a great opportunity for you personally, your team and epilot.
