SAP Associate Business Analyst

Description:

The ideal candidate should have excellent hands on experience with SAP Materials Management & WM with a good understanding of SAP application design . Candidate should have good experience in business process design for Purchase Organizations . A good understanding of SAP system architecture is expected. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to translate business requirements into system requirements is key to be successful in this role.

Overall Experience level: 7-10 years of in-depth knowledge and consulting experience in SAP MM & WM
Location: This position will be based in [DL3] UST Office, Trivandrum, Kerala, India .
Travel Expectations: 5%

As a SAP MM\WM Functional , your focus will include, but not be limited to:
· Deliver innovative solutions in business consulting, business process design, application design and system integration supporting Sales Order Management organizations of multi-national corporations.
· Expertise required in Material Management & Inventory Management module.
· Responsible for planning and executing SAP Implementation / Development / Support activities regard to SAP Materials Management (MM) and ability to handle all Purchasing & Inventory management (MM) with Warehouse Management (WM) .
· Strong knowledge of Purchase business process including Invoice Verification.
· Experience in end to end processes knowledge on Purchasing, Invoicing & Integration.
· Knowledgeable in business processes, configuration and integration with other modules such as SAP SD, PP, WM and FICO.
· Ability to perform all tasks in the development cycle, starting from business strategy, business process definition, to configuration and unit testing, assistance and follow-up with user testing, to co-ordination of transports to Production, to training and post-live support and fixes.
· Strong communication skills. Able to discuss business processes with client team in business language, as well as discuss in depth technical issues with development team.

· Serving as trusted advisor to clients to help them meet business needs through innovative solutions.
· Ability to work independently on blueprint as well as fit to standard design sessions, configure, test, implement functional requirements and the creation of functional design specs in the area of Customer Service. Needs to be able to lead client meetings as well as participate in pre-sales activities.
· Ability to configure SAP – MM & WM and deliver work products / packages conforming to the Client's Standards & Requirements. Strong configuration hands on experience in MM & WM. Responsible in studying and preparing AS-IS study, gap analysis, Blue-Print and Strong configuration hands on experience in the following MM areas.
· 1) Material Master, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Account Determination, Invoice Verifications.
· 2) Knowledge of inbound and outbound supply chain involving Purchase Requisitions, Quotation, Contacts, Purchase Orders, Stock Transport Order, STO Delivery, Inventory Management including Physical Inventory and Invoice Verifications . Integration of the MM & WM module with other SAP modules and with external applications. In addition to the above the candidate should have been involved in the following during the life cycle of SAP implementation: 1) Unit Testing, Cycle Testing 2) Integration Testing 3) User Manual Preparation 4) User Support activities 5) Exposure to ASAP and other structured implementation methodologies 6) Regularly interact with the onsite team/client 7) Provide status updates in daily/weekly conference calls 8) Maintain cordial relationship with onsite team/client 9) Prepare test scripts and perform testing after MM upgrade
· Skills/Experience Requirements:

Top 3 must have:
· At least 10 years of in-depth knowledge and consulting experience in SAP MM
· At least 1 year of S4/HANA experience
· 3 to 6 years of SAP MM Functional Domain Experience and should have worked for 3 to 6 years on MM Module of SAP projects . At least one full life cycle implementation experience in MM module covering all the skills as mentioned below.
· The following SAP MM skills are necessary: 1) SAP MM – Material Master and other Masters 2) SAP MM – Purchasing 3) SAP MM – Inventory Management (Including Physical Inventory ) 4) SAP MM – Service Management 5) SAP MM – Account Assignment 6) SAP MM – Invoice Verifications 7) Inbound Processing 8) Outbound Processing 9) Planning & Dispatching 10) Warehouse & Storage 11) Inventory Management in MM 12) Handling Unit Management and Storage Unit Management 13) Cross docking 14) RF configuration 15) Knowledge on extended Warehouse Management . Should be able to analyze end to end procurement processes and be able to provide an optimum solution utilizing processes available in MM.
· Regularly interact with the onsite team/client. Conduct daily/weekly conference calls. Create presentation deck and present them. Maintain cordial relationship with onsite team/client. Should have good written and oral communication skills. Must be a good team player. Familiarity on the basic business processes with the following Functional Areas: 1) SAP WM 2) SAP FI/CO 3) SAP SD 4) SAP PP & QM
