Senior Accounting Manager

As a Senior Manager of Accounting you will be the accounting voice of the company. You will own the books from end-to-end, while providing accounting leadership and guidance to the management team. For now, this role is a functional manager role, and no people management experience is required.

What You'll Do

• Maintain and process all accounting entries including revenue, expenses, A/R, A/P, financing, taxes, and transfer pricing.
• Increase transparency and controls across major expense categories
• Determine proper accounting treatment for new products, transfer pricing, amortization, etc.
• Manage third-party expert consultants for specific accounting/tax deliverables
• Collaborate with Finance and Business Units for budgeting/planning and streamlining expenses
• Bridge the gap from accounting reports to software-as-a-service (SaaS) analytics

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Accounting
• CPA or equivalent with public accounting experience
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles
• Experience with software/SaaS specific accounting
• Experience with global customers and employees
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally across internal teams (Sales, Support, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance)
• MS Excel
• Previous experience with Xero (or similar accounting software) is preferred
• Experience working with a distributed/remote team is a plus
• High level of English fluency
